The bit I enjoy most is getting people into a room and helping them build something. Whether that’s a hack event where someone ships their first AI prototype, a conference talk that changes how someone thinks about adoption, or a meetup where people just connect – that’s the work I find most rewarding.
18+ speaking and organising events in 2025 alone, across international conferences, podcasts, community meetups, and internal sessions.
Build with AI
These events are the thing I’m most proud of in the last year. The format is simple: get a room full of people, give them access to AI tools and APIs, and let them build something real in a few hours. The results are always better than anyone expects.
London Dual Event
29 October 2025 | 115+ participants across two back-to-back sessions
The biggest event I’ve organised. We ran TWO hack events at LBG’s London offices on the same day, one after the other:
- Internal session: 100 accepts, 65 LBG colleagues – deliberately cross-functional with engineers, product owners, and agility leads working together
- External session (GDG London): 120 accepts, 50 community members attended with 80 on the waitlist. 4.88/5 rating, +94 NPS
This started with a conversation at the GDG Community Summit in Berlin in June – I met Stefan, sketched a plan on the back of a napkin, and four months later we had 115+ people building AI prototypes in hours.

GDG Manchester
19 June 2025
The event that proved the format before we scaled it to London. External community hack event at LBG Manchester offices.
